The Astrocartography Edit-How to identify the locations that activate money, career, and entrepreneurship
I am writing to you from beautiful Bosnia & Herzegovina, sandwiched right between my Mercury and Sun DC lines!
Blagaj, Bosnia & Herzegovina
Job markets worldwide seem to be getting more challenging with the ever-looming threat of AI and automation, and the bottomless pit of corporate greed. Despite this unfortunate state of affairs, reading Astrocartography for clients from a range of countries, backgrounds, and life situations has showed me that certain places on Earth do in fact activate career, financial, and business success.
Let’s talk about Jupiter
Yes, Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system that governs abundance, wealth, wisdom, and expansion. Our Jupiter placement in our birth chart can reveal how we can attract abundance and financial success.
For example:
Jupiter in the 11th House: This is my Jupiter placement! It indicates achieving financial success through your community and networks. This could look like securing employment through recommendations, gaining clients primarily through referrals and word of mouth, or earning money through collaborating with others.
Jupiter in the 5th House: This Jupiter placement often points to monetizing through creative endeavors, especially those involving performing arts.
Jupiter in the 6th House: Those with this Jupiter placement could achieve financial success in service-related professions, or through career/business paths related to health and healing.
So, are Jupiter lines the best for money, career, and entrepreneurship?
Jupiter lines are typically supportive for these things, but remember that some Astrocartography lines, even Jupiter and Venus lines, will not be good for everyone. This is dependent on the condition a specific planet, luminary, or celestial body in an individual’s birth chart. In general though, yes, Jupiter lines tend to be favorable. It’s important to know which birth chart angle Jupiter conjuncts to know whether Jupiter is going to activate career, money, and entrepreneurship.
Jupiter MC Line: This line brings Jupiter’s “lucky” energy to the area of career, legacy, and public image. People tend to attract many work and business opportunities in this location.
Jupiter DC Line: The DC angle rules relationships, primarily 1-1 relationships. I’ve found that clients living or traveling to this line report meeting the “right people” who help them get ahead in their career or business.
Are any other Astrocartography lines ideal for career and business?
Besides Jupiter lines, I would say that Venus, Sun, and in some cases Mars lines can aid in attracting business, financial, and career success.
Venus and Jupiter are both ‘benefics’ in modern astrology (check this) meaning that they tend to be more beneficial, bringing us good fortune and blessings. However, the energies and associations that the two planets have are different. As previously mentioned, Jupiter is the planet of abundance, opportunities, wisdom, wealth and expansion. Jupiter expands everything it touches, it is about pushing limits and experiencing as much as possible. Venus, on the other hand, tends to bring ease. Ease in attracting what we want. Venus also governs peace, love and harmony, so it’t linked to this feel good energy that can best be described as inner peace. Venus lines can actually feel a bit underwhelming for those who are craving a most exciting and stimulating life. Jupiter lines can sometimes make us feel like we’re overdoing things and spreading ourselves too thin, due to all the possibilities and opportunities, they can feel overwhelming for some.
Sun lines can be supportive career and business wise, because they typically help with visibility and recognition. There is also a sense of motivation and drive that often occurs on Sun lines.
While Mars, along with Saturn, is a malefic planet, I’ve found that Mars lines can actually be beneficial for some people. Remember that Mars rules action and energy, and that because of this, Mars lines can actually be good places for some people, especially those looking to boost their vitality and motivation. In short, they could be good for getting out of a rut and can serve as a catalyst for taking action.
What about relocated chart placements?
There are many relocated chart placements that are indicators of career, business, and financial success. These are the top ones in my opinion:
Jupiter in the 2nd House: Money and work opportunities tend to come with less effort, things just fall into place.
Venus in the 2nd House: Greater ease in attracting financial abundance and stability.
Part of Fortune in the 2nd House: Typically indicates luck career and finance-wise, as well as attracting stability, and strong money management skills.
10th House Stellium (especially with inner planets and/or benefics): Not an automatic indicator of wealth, but this stellium often looks like career activation, greater opportunities, career advancement, and possibly leadership. This is especially true if the stellium contains benefics (Venus & Jupiter), the Sun, and, in some cases Pluto.
Are there any ACG lines or placements I should avoid or be aware of?
Yes, some locations can work against you when it comes to career and money (and anything else, really.)
Saturn MC Line: Saturn is known for bringing challenges and obstacles that are meant to teach us important lessons. Therefore, things tend to take more time on Saturn lines. When Saturn is on the Midheaven (MC), career gratification could seem to take forever. This may not be the case for everyone, however, because this could be offset by other ACG lines or relocated chart placements.
Uranus MC: While not inherently bad, Uranus is associated with surprises, disruptions, and sudden changes. Due to this, people can experience a lot of instability in their careers while on this line.
Pluto IC: Ohhhh boy, this line! I recently made a video about this line and how EVERY single client I’ve worked with who has lived on this line has experienced some form of loss or hardship. While not directly linked to career and finances, this line can bring very difficult situations that can affect all areas of life, including career.
Neptune lines in general (especially Neptune MC & IC): Neptune lines can feel very spiritual and mystical. They are typically enjoyable short-term, but many people eventually report feelings of confusion, stagnancy, and lack of motivation.
Saturn in the 2nd House: The second house rules money, material posessions, values, and self-worth. Saturn rules limits, structure, delays, obstacles, and lessons. People who have this placement in their birth chart or relocated chart could find themselves doubting their ability to make money and maintain their income, have a difficult time making money, or develop bad spending habits.
